i have wired my N64 to batteries using this easy to understand Diagram from portables of doom

 

 

for a battery holder i used the power oack case to put the batteries in and drilled a hole where wires runout to the Headphone jack.

 

Stuff you need for a solderless portable

 

1.intec 5.4" gamecube screen prefeably in badd physical condition but still works great.

2.12 2100 mAH nextel rechargeables

4.6 volt charger

5.N64 (duh)

6.CNC router (if you cant get to one just make a case from some thing else)

7.Coltage converter 12v to 3v

8.black market 64 controler becouse the regular controlers joysticks wear-out easily

9.large head phone jack and plug

10.Momentary switches
